It's really fun creating an album completely by yourself when you know nothing. NOT.

Every dollar I make performing gets fed right back into recording. I'm doing everything myself. My studio is in my bedroom. My book shelf is filled with recording and music industry books. Learning to record music is my project just as much as my album is.

I am learning more and more every day. I'm excited to announce I just finished mixing and my mastering my first song! Guess how long it took me from start to finish...

60 HOURS. WHAT.

Yup...this stuff takes a ton of time. To be fair, it was a more complex song (Rain, if you've seen me live) where some of that time was spent writing drums, figuring out software issues, creating midi tracks, etc. With any luck, the next tracks will take half the time per song.

It's a frustrating, long process. But I'm in it for the long haul. I'm not quitting until my story is told. If it took a hundred years it would be worth it.

I can't wait for you to hear the words I've written down.

Wow! Twinsburg's Rock the Park was such a fun venue!!! I had an awesome time opening for Post Road, a country cover band in Cleveland. My portion of the show was an hour long, and I played for over 1,000 audience members! It was exhilarating. Everyone was drinking, dancing, and singing along. I couldn't believe how loud that crowd cheered out after my renditions of "Royals," "Country Roads," and an original called "Afraid of the Water."

My favorite part of the show was coming down into the stands and seeing the fans afterwards. So many people, friends and strangers, came up to me to tell me what they loved most and request pictures. It was such an animated crowd and I absolutely loved playing for you all. Thanks to all who came! And of course, congrats to Post Road for an awesome show.
