Studio Time7/18/2017 ![]() It's really fun creating an album completely by yourself when you know nothing. NOT. Every dollar I make performing gets fed right back into recording. I'm doing everything myself. My studio is in my bedroom. My book shelf is filled with recording and music industry books. Learning to record music is my project just as much as my album is. I am learning more and more every day. I'm excited to announce I just finished mixing and my mastering my first song! Guess how long it took me from start to finish... 60 HOURS. WHAT. Yup...this stuff takes a ton of time. To be fair, it was a more complex song (Rain, if you've seen me live) where some of that time was spent writing drums, figuring out software issues, creating midi tracks, etc. With any luck, the next tracks will take half the time per song. It's a frustrating, long process. But I'm in it for the long haul. I'm not quitting until my story is told. If it took a hundred years it would be worth it. I can't wait for you to hear the words I've written down. -Brenna Lynn

Good for you! Never ever quit until you are able to finally tell your story. Life will give you a lot of obstacles to try and take away your dreams, but you have to be strong. Always remember why you want to achieve your dreams and you will never lose motivation to pursue your goals. You can become the person you have always dreamed of as long as you have God by your side. Keep holding on to your faith and sooner or later, you'll finally be able to say, "I made it!".
